But I had a great time working for EXPRESS, such a fun team!
When I moved to NYC, I found my calling. The Boutique. From Jussara to PRODUCT. Soho was the place for me. I worked for the most amazing women, Elaine Kim, Jussara Lee. They did it all them self. design, fixtures, I watched Elaine take a hammer and nail when ever needed.
When I moved back to LA, I worked for PRODUCT and Lisa Kline to name a few. I saw how important a good team is. Makes all the difference and I am so happy to have the girls at TINK. Not to mention they are so hot and rocked the photo shoot for the web site on line shop!
What I am trying to say is, if you don’t take control and handle it on your own. No one is going to do it for you. This whole blog and Photographer thing is new to me. But I am just going for it!
And that is why the TINK girls rock!xx

The only sport I really go to. Well I would see Ohio State and who doesn’t go to a Lakers game in LA when they can. But back to Baseball. My uncle took me to my first baseball game, the Columbus Clippers. I had a ball the food the fun the seventh inning stretch best time ever. I can’t wait for the season to start and see a few Dodger games. Went To Fenway Park with my dad what a great day. So Dad this blogs for you. After all, you did start calling me Tink. I hope it is relatable. HA HA

By the way , it’s the best date ever. Went to a game with a guy I was dating and he was very impressed with my baseball game outfit.  I mean he really liked it he mentioned it a few times. I had aPair of Seven jeans on, green stripe halter top from Forever 21, Marc Jacobs gold sparkle flip flops  and  an LV small clutch. It was cute!

Now I’m set for my game look with Wildfox, Chaser, a Christeys hat and TKees. Looking forward to it. See you at Dodger Stadium!

Being a huge fan of the hilarious womanizer and comic genius for many years, I was intrigued to see what he would do next.

The first show was at The Hollywood Forever cemetery. No he did not perform on graves, but in a lovely room that holds the “Comedy is Dead” events. He had just began dating his now wife. The show was outstanding and after he said to me ” A few months ago I would of had you”. I gushed , wished it was a few months ago and smiled pretty for the camera .

The next gig was at The Groundlings Theater. Again,brilliant. I sat in the front row not my style but that was the only seat left. The first thing he said when he came on stage was “This is what I call the Jeffrey Dahmer row” as he pointed to the row of girls that I was in. OK that’s funny. The girl sitting next to me was I’m guessing, under some substances and spoke out a few times. Russell grabbed her bag dumped it out on stage and found certain substances. The best was the bottle of wine in her sock. I was jealous, but my bag would not have been as entertaining. After the show he found the girl, apologized  and handed her all the money he had on him. Again nice guy, great night.

Several months later gigs at The ACME  Comedy Theater. The first show was different. Russell had gotten married and rather than comedy it was more like preaching. I must admit I agreed with him on many levels and thought he spoke the truth. His big theme was, ” All I wanted was to be famous. Thought it would make everything better.Now that I am , it aint all it’s cracked up to be.” Again, he did the purse bit. It wasn’t as funny and seemed planned, as it was, but shouldn’t come across that way. All and all a good gig.

More gigs at The ACME. This was my favorite! I got to bring Ali,( My assistant and now my little sister) and she was so excited! Also ran into my friend Shepard Fairy, who happens to be Mr. Brands neighbor, that I know through Mark Hunter “the Cobrasnake”,who is very good friends with Katy Perry.(hence the six degrees)  After explaining to Ali who Shepard was she was even more excited for the show to begin. This gig was great! the purse bit worked, not preachy but absolutely peachy.Well done. A great night of cheek and tummy hurting laughter!

And again more shows at The ACME. The shows were so so. After the terrible purse bit I was tired and had a long drive  a head of me so I got up and left. As I was doing this he made some comment about me having to have a wee and it’s true I did.

More ACME… This time the shows were being filmed for the big and final gigs At The Hollywood Improv. I was worried the preacher man was back.

Finally the big night at the Improv! The show was fantastic! All the work and evolution of the material was organic and genius, the final shows material was brilliant! I can’t wait to see the documentary and I really hope I’m in it!

Now things are really going to get bananas! Fashion show, March the 21st. Kendall K trunk show, the 24th. Samantha Lockwood Fleurings trunk show, The 26th. Few That’s a huge week but Tink is ready for the madness because we live for the drama and excitement  of fashion. Going to keep you posted. Now I’m going to ROCK OUT, Yes another fabulous Chaser T- shirt quote has inspired me. xx
